Erasure.
Absence.
What does it mean to intentionally take something away?
What happens when something disappears?
Does removing an element create a new kind of presence?
How does absence shape the narrative of design?
When does subtraction become a form of authorship rather than loss?

The second issue of CHROMEPLEASE invites contributors to respond to the theme DELETE.
In a world saturated with images, objects, and information, deletion can be an act of resistance. It can be a refusal, a pause, or a reset. It might signal restraint, care, or control, or reveal what lingers once something has been removed.
DELETE can be physical or conceptual. It may take the form of erasure, concealment, fragmentation, or reduction. CHROMEPLEASE is interested in work that considers absence as a presence in itself, where what is missing carries as much weight as what remains.
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submissions are invited across architecture, design, art, and fashion, particularly where these disciplines begin to intersect.
Work that aligns with the publication's aesthetic is essential, considered, and in dialogue with the curated black and white tones of CHROMEPLEASE. This doesn’t mean grayscale, but rather a visual tone: high contrast, limited colour, minimal and direct.
Submissions may be resolved or fragmentary. The focus is on intent and resonance.
Submissions may take many forms, including but not limited to visualisations/renders, photography, artwork, essays, poems, interviews, short texts, fashion studies, models or material experiments, and architectural or design fragments.
