A crease is a quiet disruption.
A fold. A distortion. A surface shifted.
The first issue of CHROMEPLEASE considers a crease not just as a mark, but as a gesture — an intentional interruption, a structural fold, a memory impressed into matter. A crease can hold pressure, texture, tension; it can unsettle form, break rhythm, or shift meaning. Creases may appear in the everyday or the unexpected: through fabric, formwork, movement, material, recollection, or text — where the surface shifts or holds. Consider how a crease might form, fold, rupture, or remain.
Submissions are invited across architecture, design, art, and fashion, particularly where these disciplines begin to intersect.
Work that aligns with the CHROMEPLEASE aesthetic is essential — considered, personal, slightly off-centre, and in dialogue with the curated black and white tones of the CHROMEPLEASE Instagram. This doesn’t mean greyscale, but rather a visual tone: high contrast, limited colour, minimal and direct.
Submissions may be resolved or fragmentary. The focus is on intent and resonance.
Submissions may take many forms, including but not limited to visualisations / renders, photography, artwork, essays, poems, interviews, short texts, fashion studies, models or material experiments, and architectural or design fragments.

Please prepare submissions according to the following guidelines.
IMAGES — High quality JPEG or PNG, minimum 3500 px and 300 DPI resolution.

In your submission email, please include your name, the title of the work [ if applicable ], a short description, and any relevant credits or links.
All contributors will be credited. Selected works will appear in ISSUE 01, both in print and across digital platforms.
